Kidwell Fabrications Llc began in 2017 with the goal of being at the forefront of New American furniture design. The owner, Kyle Kidwell, started out as a carpenter in his home state of Virginia before pursuing woodworking and cabinetmaking for 7 years in new york city. Ready to leave that dense urban setting, Kyle and his wife moved to portland, maine in 2014 where they now raise their two children.

The kidwell fabrications studio is a small, two person space where all pieces are made to order. we strive to achieve a compelling and uncompromising balance between furniture design, craftsmanship, materials, joinery, and execution. The collection is consistently evolving and growing to reflect our relentless pursuit of design and quality.
